Instead of upselling their passengers on glitzy first-class service, they offered only economy. One burner represents your family, one is your friends, the third is your health, and the fourth is your work. In order to be successful, you have to cut off one of your burners.

And in order to be really successful, you have to cut off two. It is essential in and of itself. Our highest priority is to protect our ability to prioritise.

Which of these other projects should I deprioritise to pay attention to this new project? Make a list of your dealbreakers—the types of requests or activities from that person that you simply refuse to say yes to unless they somehow overlap with your own priorities or agenda.
